Simply, yet strikingly printed in green on white paper, laid on board. The sign is lettered in a typical ornate style, with some areas of browning, but nonetheless is overall in good and attractive condition. We are not quite sure what the 'Ragtime Box Ball Game' was, but presumably it involved rolling balls towards holes to obtain a high score. The prizes are denominated on the sign, and range from 2p for a score of 8 or 9, to a watch if you scored 15 points.
A fantastic, and rare, piece of early fairground memorabilia.
