The late twentieth century golden oak dining table having a thick plank top over a central drawer to block legs, the whole extending to over nine feet long with the additional end-leaves, and being very well made with fine timbers.

The condition is fine with no deficiencies to note. The leaves slide in easily as does the central drawer. The whole has a good colour, is very sturdy and is ready to go.

The design of this table is derived from early nineteenth century French farmhouse examples which were seen more often than not in fruitwood or cherrywood.

With the dining room becoming more of an oddity and the open plan kitchen becoming more of the norm, this well-crafted table is a desirable piece of furniture in today’s market making it a standout choice for 21st century dining.
