Having three graduated drawers, the carcass with canted corners and good panelling to one side, standing on a plinth base.

The condition is unquestionably rustic, wonderfully worn, with an abundance of character and a yawning evocative patina. The handles are later but probably still late Victorian and the interiors to the draws, have at some stage, been painted in a pleasing dark slated grey.
