The late Victorian period trefoil or clover shaped wall mirror with a walnut ripple moulded frame having gilt floral banded decoration, the quality bevelled original mirror plate with some foxing commensurate with age and presented with original hanging chain.

In very good condition the mirror does not suffer from any damage to note, the plate is original as is everything else. The back shows the original pine boards and mounting chain. It had previously hung in the same property undisturbed for many years.

The trefoil shape is synonymous with Gothic architecture, though is unusual when outside that sphere, especially with mirrors.

A good quality mirror, completely untouched and in a rarely seen shape.
