The pair of Georgian period brass round tilt-top table formed candle reflectors each with pad feet, surviving from the zeniths of the eighteenth century.
The condition of the reflectors is as good as could be expected. The patination is appealing and there is no loss or structural damage.
Designed to reflect the candles light to make the room brighter, the reflectors tilt to become a mock table standing on tripod legs to pad feet. Reflectors without candle holders are less common but were easily portable and could be placed behind any candlestick where extra light was required.
Always nice to find a pair, simple period delights that can still be used as intended for the romantics out there.
